I am not sure why the first bath is such a momentous event, maybe it is because that annoying umbilical cord finally fell off or maybe it the is the excitement of getting all the dried spit-up out from under the chin, but what ever it is we are sure to record it. I asked who was going to help me give Avary the bath and of course all the kids wanted to help. I asked Brian to grab the camera and so the kids all grabbed their Princess and Toy Story cameras as well. Ava didn't seem to like the bath too much at first. I am not sure if it was the water or because she had to pose not only for daddy but also for Jaya and Josh to take a picture as well. The cameras prompting of "Say cheese!", "You're as pretty as a princess." and "Buzz Lightyear to the rescue!" didn't get her to crack a smile either, but she sure smells a lot better!
